Accessibility Statement
Sara Commers Private Jeweler is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor to be able to explore our work, learn about our services, and get in touch with us easily.
Our Goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities.
What We’ve Done
- Added descriptive text to images so screen readers can describe our jewelry and photos
- Made sure the site can be navigated with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link
- Labeled all links, buttons and form fields so they’re announced clearly by screen readers
- Checked color contrast for text and controls
- Allowed pinch-to-zoom on mobile devices and tested the site at 200% zoom
- Tested pages with automated accessibility tools and with the VoiceOver screen reader
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We review the site as we add new content and make improvements when we find issues. Some content from third parties, such as embedded social media posts or linked websites, may not be fully within our control.
