ABOUT THE DESIGNER
SARA COMMERS IS A JEWELERS OF AMERICA CERTIFIED BENCH JEWELER AND AN AWARD-WINNING JEWELRY DESIGNER.
Sara Commers of Commers Custom Jewelers specializes in creating original and unique designs for her clients in precious metals of platinum, palladium and karat gold, with ethically sourced diamonds and colored gemstones and pearls. Her custom designed jewelry is created by combining modern technology with old world techniques utilizing CAD/CAM design, laser welding, 3D printed models, induction lost-wax casting with hand-set gemstones while every piece of jewelry made is hand-polished. You are welcome to bring your jewelry for upcycling into new designs, or diamonds for resetting and re-designing into new, bespoke jewelry.

All of this comes together in her Del Mar, CA studio. All of the work is performed on-site so you can be assured that every piece is taken care of while in the design studio. Every unique design is hand-delivered or shipped insured, globally.

Design consultations are available in-person and remotely from your location, by appointment. Sara makes frequent trips to her home town of Minneapolis to meet with private clients, as well as Miami where her other company RaWay Jewels was founded, and currently meets with clients in the San Diego area. Designing and creating jewelry professionally since 1999, Sara studied the art and craft of goldsmithing, diamond setting and jewelry design at the prestigious institutions of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts and Stewart’s International School for Jewelers. She is accredited as a Certified Bench Jeweler by Jewelers of America, a certified Pearl Specialist by Cultured Pearl Association of America and a JBAR Accredited Fine Jewelry Appraiser.
